Dyno-tab® is a combustion catalyst that helps your engine burn the fuel you buy more efficiently.
- Increases the rate of fuel burn, which increases pressure on the piston, thus providing increased power.
- Causes a more complete burn of fuel, which improves economy and reduces emissions.

Lowers the temperature at which carbon deposits will burn, so that your engine can eliminate such power-robbing
deposits during normal engine use. - Increases the octane of gasoline/petrol, resulting in the elimination of pre-ignition (knock).
How does Dyno-tab® work in both diesel fuel and gasoline/petrol?
An important chemical component found in Dyno-tab® and Dyno-tab® Plus is a proprietary combustion catalyst designed to improve the burn characteristics of hydrocarbons. This results in a more complete and controlled burn within the combustion chamber that yields more power, greater economy and a reduction of harmful emissions and smoke.
That result happens irrespective of the type of hydrocarbon fuel. Gasoline/petrol, diesel fuels, and even bunker fuel and residual fuel, the heavy fuel oils common used in ships, boilers and stationary generators, benefit from the use of this part of the Dyno-tab® chemistry.
There are also certain other elements of the Dyno-tab® chemistry that react differently when used in gas or diesel. Octane and Cetane are good examples. Dyno-tab® increases octane in gasoline. It does not, however, increase cetane in diesel.
